The Oklahoma Department of corrections (ODOC) administers the state's prison system. The ODC is tasked with the day-to-day management and, security of over 24 state prisons and 93 county jails. These behavior modification centers include private prisons, community correctional centers, and a state penitentiary. 

The ODC is also responsible for collecting public inmate data from all the inmates in Oklahoma. With a few Key word strokes, you can access public data from their main website which is also available for download. The data includes the inmate's identities, sentences, reception dates, and status, among others. However, the ODOC doesn't avail private information such as social security numbers, health records, and banking information.

The easiest and most convenient way of finding a state prisoner is using the prison inmate search engine. Alternatively, you can phone the prison directly. The ODOC is responsible for inmate records and avails this information to the public via the Oklahoma offender locator on its website. 

If interested in finding anyone incarcerated in a state prison, you need only the OK inmate search tool to gain access to the inmate data records. With the OK tool, you can search for someone via their name, the ID number of adult inmates, and date of birth.  

Unfortunately, Juvenile inmate records are not made public in the state. However, you can get a glimpse of the closed reports by visiting Oklahoma's DOC online web setup

Oklahoma County Jail Inmate Search 

If you are looking for inmates in the county jail, the best way to locate them is to utilize online resources. You could also opt to call the county sheriffs because they are responsible for the jail inmate records and information on how to get in touch with the inmates.  

However, third-party websites are better equipped for county jail inmate searches because they are not affected by geographic limitations. But since these websites are not government sponsored or regulated, the information offered may vary.  

For more accurate results from third-party websites, requesting parties must provide the exact location of the record you need including, the state, county, and the city an offender resides. You also must provide the full names, except if the inmate is a juvenile.
