Detention Centers under the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation 

Michigan Department of Corrections oversees the state's prisons and monitors inmates' parole and probation. There are 30 state prisons and a Special Alternative Incarceration (SAI) Facility currently under the MDOC. The SAI is operated as a military-style boot camp and a Level I facility.
