Kentucky Inmate Jail Search
City and county jails are made for short-term stays, mostly less than a year. The local police departments and county sheriff’s offices manage the jails. The agencies also manage the online repositories for offender documents. To perform a Kentucky inmate search, you can go to the local law enforcement official site. You should include the offender’s full name and ID number when searching.
You can also search for an offender’s release date online or by calling the jail administrator. However, you may find that the record custodian cannot provide the details because of security or privacy reasons. In this case, only eligible persons can be provided with the exact release date. If you aren’t an immediate family member, attorney, or crime victim, you can only find the month and year of release.
