Sending a Mail/Care Package
The Nevada Jail does not keep inmates for very long. Most of the time within a few days to a few hours the inmates who are going to be heading to trial and who could not post bail will be sent off to the Story County Jail.
This means inmates are not allowed to get packages and/or mail.

Inmates will have access to the telephone when they are going through the booking process. Inmates will be given one free phone call to whoever they please. After that, inmates will need to wait until they are transferred to the county jail.
