Denver Reception & Diagnostic Center started out in 1985 operating as a medium security jail. In 1991 the jail changed over to a shut authority jail. Sending a Mail/Care Package

The Denver Reception & Diagnostic Center knows how important it is for friends and family to keep in contact with an inmate while they are serving out their time.

The most economical way to do so is to write them letters. Please make sure all letters are appropriate enough for someone else to read prior to the inmate it is made out to, to read.

Sending Money

When an inmate is in the Denver Reception & Diagnostic Center, they will also need money. Why do they need money? They will need money to purchase various items from the Commissary in the facility. The commissary is acts as a store for the inmates where they can purchase a variety of items that they will need in their day to day lives.

Phone calls

All inmates that are exhibiting good behavior will have access to the telephones that are situated in the common areas in the facility. All phone calls are limited to 15-minutes in length.

Visitation

To go to a meeting session, you should have an endorsed guest’s application on document. Visits at correctional facility will happen on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays between 11 am to 7:15 pm. Guests won't be permitted to go into the foundation somewhere in the range of 1pm and 2:15pm, from 4pm to 5:15pm and after 6:30pm. Customary appearance won't be hung on certain office occasion days, consistently consider the foundation daily or so preceding your arranged visit to guarantee appearance has not been dropped.
